100 mile challenge in November
So this month, on MyFitnessPal, I created a group that is tracking their exercise miles for the entire month. Last time I did the challenge, I created it for the summer months to encourage people to move outside. This fall/winter challenge is great since everyone wants to hibernate in the winter months.
If you have not been to the website, I HIGHLY encourge it. After meeting several friends on here that have helped in my process, I realize it really is important to have such a support system on anything that you are trying to strive for.
Struggling with weight.....check it out.
I will keep you posted on the 100 miles in November.

Online vision boards
So I am very excited to find a website on here that helps you make an online vision board. I have been thinking about doing this for a while, but seemed to keep pushing it back as I "didnt have the time".....WELL NO MORE! I sat down today and put up my inspirational photos, power words, and everything that I want in life to come true. What an amazing thing to look at on a daily basis to make sure you see what you want, think about it, and can make it happen. I also just started a daily journal to where I will write about what I feel and do each day. Very excited. I am doing the paper copy right now, as I dont always carry my computer with me when I am watching other kids.
Whether you want to become the person you have always dreamt about being......if you want to start from scratch and get out of your rutt, or if you are completely fet up with your life and dont know where to turn, I SUGGEST BOTH THE VISION BOARD AND THE JOURNAL.
When I went to church last week, we talked about 5 things that you should do on a daily basis..I was so moved by this that I got a marker out and wrote these 5 things on the mirror for me to look at every morning and try to do better at. Here are the 5 things that might help you get on track.....
1. LOOK ON THE POSITIVE SIDE
2. BE THE BEST THAT YOU CAN BE IN WHATEVER YOU DO
3. EMBRACE CHANGE
4. BE GRATEFUL
5. LEARN FROM YOUR MISTAKES, DONT DWELL ON THEM, AND MOVE FORWARD.
Hope this helps someone out there that might be struggling. Please let me know if you have any questions or comments!
Love you all as we are ALL A PERFECT EXPRESSION OF GOD!

Water weight
So I am obsessed with weighing myself (both good and bad). I can jump on that scale 3-4 times a day, just to see how much my body can change throughout the day, throughout the week, throughout the month. This week has been a change of around 9 pounds just from my fluctuations. I have noticed that if I drink, then my body holds more water and I gain for the next couple of days.
All of this scale checking is driving me crazy though. So next month, I am going to take the entire month off (until the last day) from weighing in. Those positive thoughts are coming back to me, invisioning who I want to be as the person I am, is going to happen. You can be anyone you want to be as long as you work at it, see yourself doing it, and start everyday with the thought.......TODAY IS GOING TO BE A NEW DAY. TODAY I AM GOING TO ACCOMPLISH EVERYTHING I WANT. I WILL NOT GET TODAY BACK SO I AM GOING TO BE AS HAPPY AS I CAN, PLAY AS MUCH AS I CAN WITH MY DAUGHTER, BE THE BEST WIFE, MOM, AND FRIEND I CAN BE. TODAY IS PERFECT AND THEREFORE I AM PERFECT!

JUICE FEAST!
I am VERY excited to start this up again. I did a juice feast for 21 days before I got pregnant and lost a lot of weight with it AND kept it off. I decided to do this again to help spark some more weight loss into my life. After hitting a month plateau, I really wanted to continue on my journey, but knew I had to make some changes for me in order for it to work. I decided to do my juice feast with an acception to raw salads if I felt the erge to "eat" something. So far......5 pounds in 2 days.
I LOVE MY NEW JUICER. Its amazing. Im needing to up my calories a little more though with the juicing so I will try that today to make sure I am getting in all my nutritional needs and not starving my body. So far so good!

MT PRINCETON........check
Well I accomplished my first 14er and it was HARD. We did Mt Princeton in the Collegiate Peaks and it was beautiful, but not a very fun hike. Almost the entire hike consisted of boulders. Im not talking about these boulders that are firmly stuck in the ground and easy to walk on. I am talking about small pebbles....huge lose rocks and magnificant boulders. It was crazy. Once we were on the top, we noticed a huge storm coming so we started down, and go rained on.......rain + loose boulders = no bueno! IT WAS SUPER SCARY! I made it up in 4 hours and my husband did it in 2 hrs 45 minutes. Very hard but rewarding. Our next one is setup for next month. Cant wait. If you have not tried it I would highly recommend making the trip over to Buena Vista to check out the mountain!

HIKING MY 1ST 14er!
WOW! Cant believe the day is almost here to hike my first 14er! Couldnt be anymore excited and nervous all at the same time. It will be such a great experience for me and I cant wait to test my body. My knees have been starting to grind the past couple weeks, so that is my only hesitation, but having good faith and invisioning me at the top is what I need to focus on. THIS CAN HAPPEN AND WILL!
So we are leaving tomorrow to the Collegiate Peaks to hang out, set up camp, and get well rested for our hike on Saturday EARLY morning (like 5:30). The inlaws are in town to watch the little one so it will just be us two trying to do this together. I am charging my IPOD as we speak. I didnt think my pandora would work all the way up, nor would I have any battery left, so we will see how the playlists work out for the hike!
I will keep you posted on my journey and hopefully report something back on my birthday when we pull up in the driveway.........
love you all!

THE LAW OF ATTRACTION
Law Of Attraction Calendar
So my personal trainer and now BFF brought me over a book on the 4th of July and it has already changed my thinking. I'm sure some of you may have heard of it, but if not, its call "The Law of Attraction" by Esther and Jerry Hicks. It is SUCH a good book. I am only into part 2 of the book, but have learned a lot from it so far.
The whole book talks about having 3 parts in your life that will transform any and every soul who uses it correctly. The first is The Law of Attraction. The second is Science of Deliberate Creation and third, Art of Allowing.
I cannot speak on which I have not read, but so far, the law of attraction has really made me stop and think about my life. The law of attraction means that which is like unto itself, is drawn. This translates to what you are feeling, thinking, fearing, etc will come true. If you are dwelling on having no money verses thinking of prosperity and happiness, money will always be an issue. If you are thankful for all that you have and feel blessed, the same will come to you.
I have been analyzing my own life and realize how much I have been focused on what I dont have or want, verses thinking about how blessed I am to have a home...food on the table....a beautiful daughter...and a husband who loves me unconditionally. So my thoughts to you are........THINK ABOUT WHO YOU WANT TO BE EVERYDAY......EVERYTIME YOU ARE FEELING DOWN.....AND FEEL BLESSED FOR WHAT YOU HAVE AND THE WONDERFUL PERSON YOU CAN SEE YOURSELF FOR!

Sleep walking
So last night I found myself sleep walking...............CRAZY. I think it has only happened maybe 3 times, but pretty scary still. I went upstairs to go to bed, and then woke up downstairs in the spare bedroom.....My husband said I sat up and started to take the sheets off the bed......came down the stairs to the main level and stood by a window.............then went downstairs to go to sleep...............OMG!!!!
I cant believe it and am just glad I was able to walk down the stairs and not fall! Has this happened to you?

Lifting weights
So today was LEGS day at the gym and man do I feel them...I have lifted without a trainer for so long and never really got anything from it. Now I know why...My form was not right and my weight stack was no where near where it should be. Ever since I started training with Taylor (my little bubbly happy beautiful goddess trainer), it has been a night and day difference. You should lift heavy and do less reps to get a successful toned body. I have seen my body transform not only in the mirror, but also in the inches that have dissapeared. If only I would have done this the entire time! I am going to take some pictures of me lifting and the different exercises that I do to show you how much it can make a difference in your own body. Lifting becomes addicting though so be watch out!
Eating mini-meals
Yesterday was a struggle with me regarding my mini meals. At certain times I just did not feel hungry, so I didnt eat......Not a good thing when my body is used to those 6 mini meals a day to keep it going strong. HOWEVER, today is a brand new day and I am going to focus on the food and keeping it clean! Back to it! Already had meal #1 by 6am so I am on a track for a strong day! I need to take some pictures of my food that way you could see what I eat. Once you eat clean, the taste of anything processed just doesnt taste the same. Its amazing how your taste buds continue to change at different stages in your life. Think back to when you were little and what you used to think was delish................o boy I bet its changed! Today is going to be a beautiful day with a great start to the weekend. LETS GO PEOPLE!

Weight loss
Well, I weighed in today and lost another pound! 207 now! I know that seems like a big number to some of you, and it does to me too still, but starting at 260 I could not be any happier with that money. I had tried SO many different things to help with my weight loss but I was in a stand still until a couple months ago. I started switching things up and made things work with my body. I started lifting 4 times a week and added in 2 sessions of high intensity cardio with 1 rest day. The results are amazing. Last month I lost 9 inches alone and my body fat weight is what is changing. My muscle mass has stayed the same so I am healthfully losing fat weight and not muscle weight, which is super important. So beyond my new found love for lifting, I have been changing my meal plan. I eat clean (no processed foods) and have 6 mini meals a day. This has changed my metabolism from a sluggish non-existing hateful burning no calories one, to a FUEL MACHINE! I eat every 2.5 hours and never feel hungry. If you are interested, I track my weight loss and food entries on a website called Myfitnesspal and LOVE IT! Come join if you are looking to lose weight and change your life!

Life on the positive side
WOW! What a journey I have been on. I got married a couple of years ago, had a baby 15 months ago, and gained a ton of weight in the process. Im still on my weight loss journey from my high of 260 to a current weight of 207. We can safely say my journey on weight loss is NOT over yet, its still going strong and I cant wait to get to my goal weight of 165! I CAN DO THIS!
Enough about the weight loss for now.......I met a wonderful lady (my personal trainer) who has not only helped me to lose the weight, but to change my mindset to a peaceful happy positive one. THIS REALLY WORKS. Have you read or seen the movie "The Secret"? If not, you should. My life is going to be JUST like this movie. I am really believing that you get out of the world what vibes you put into it. So lets say I have .50 in my bank account and thats it....I could stress out about it, cry, hit the floor in a rolling tantrum OR I could be thankful that I have .50 in my account and am blessed. Little blessing are the real deal.
I sat in my new house last night and just took a minute to reflect on everything. I looked around and realized how blessed I am. I might not have a huge bank account right now, but we have a roof over our head, in an area we have always wanted to live, food in our pantry, new furniture, a great big tv (smiles inside) and a complete family picture. My daughter is asleep upstairs, my husband is sitting next to me, and I could not be anymore happy.
I promise not all my posts are going to be all over the place like this one, but I had to give you a run down of everything that is going on and an overview of my life!
